WOLVERHAMPTON WEST END STAR Beverley Knight is to appear in a live web chat to answer your questions from 1pm onwards on Thursday 21 April – and you can post your questions now.
The singer and West End star is appearing in a live web chat hosted by The Guardian ahead of her forthcoming album and tour.
As a singer she has had a solid career – But there’s also her newfound theatre career, which began with the lead in The Bodyguard in 2013, a role she’s returning to in July. She’s since played Grizabella in Cats, and Felicia in Memphis, for which she was nominated for an Olivier award.
Her showbiz contributions have also earned her an MBE.
As a teenager Beverley was an active member of the local West Midlands theatre scene and performed in many local shows and Wolverhampton based Youth Theatre groups.
She kicks off her solo tour in May. Alas, the closest she gets back to her home town ofWolverhampton, is at The Birmingham Symphony Hall on June on 2 June. But well worth the short journey out of Wolves to catch her playing herself, before she slips back into the character of pop diva Rachel Marron in the Bodyguard musical
