The creators of hit TV show Friends have wriiten a musical, and the first ever UK tour of the musical version of Rapunzel is hitting Stourport Civic Hall in Worcestershire.

David Crane and Marta Kauffman have been the creative force behind the Friends monster hit TV sitcom, and now bring their special blend of witty wrtiing to to the stage.

Immersion Theatre Company are producing the show and have been awarded the rights to bring the show to the UK on it’s very first tour. As you can imagine the Emmy award winning partnership of ‘Friends’ creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman have given this new music version of the classic fairy tale a a bit of spin.

WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Rapunzel is the fairtytale story of good verse bad, with a pretty princess locked away by the villanous step mother.  But help is usually on hand in the form of a suotable princely hero.

However, as you can imagine, with a book and lyrics by the creators of the hit television show Friends, this isn’t your normal everyday run of the mill stage version of a fairty tale.  This version has been jazzed up to the nines. 

It retains all the charm, but also features the wit and comedy cleverness you’d expect from the minds that have been making the world laugh non-stop for more than two decades.

This is the first time this musical has been seen in the UK
