An incredible opportunity with the BBC  who are  seeking interested applicants to take up one of two puppetry internships.

Each placement is aimed to be hands on working in a studio environment with a programme or team working on a BBC Children’s puppet show. During the internship the on the job training will provide the candidates with a sound understanding and knowledge of the performance skills and non-performance skills required to succeed in the industry. This Internship will provide the successful applicants with a foundation in the skills required to assist a television puppeteer.

The BBC Children’s Puppetry Intern will provide effective support as a Runner/Assistant in either in an office, Production or Design capacity, primarily assisting Stage Managers/Puppet Captains/Wranglers with the efficient running of the studios set up they are placed in.
